casa Tre Oci renovation

Collaboration with Silvio Fassi architects for the complete interior design refurbishment

Venezia

Collaboration with Silvio Fassi architects and with Eric Allart for the interior design refurbishment of casa Tre Oci as European headquarters of the Berggruen Institute.

Casa Tre Oci it is a palace in Venice located on the island of Giudecca. It overlooks the Giudecca Canal, near the Fondamenta delle Zitelle.

The building has three levels, but the main floor is particularly noteworthy, featuring three enormous “òci” (the Venetian word for “eyes”), large pointed-arch windows overlooking the Giudecca Canal and St. Mark’s Basin.

It was originally designed between 1912 and 1913 by the Emilian painter Mario de Maria, who made it his new home in Venice.
